Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data is collected when you use ohadnissim.com (the "Site"), operated by Ohad Nissim ("I", "me"), and how it is used. I take a data-minimal approach: I collect only what is needed to respond to you and deliver mastering work.
What I collect
- Enquiry form — the name, email address, project/artist name and message you submit.
- Project submissions — the audio files and any name, email and notes you provide through the upload area.
- I do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies, and I do not build advertising profiles.
How it is used
- To reply to your enquiry, discuss your project and provide a quote.
- To carry out mastering work you commission and deliver the finished files.
- To keep records required for accounting and legal obligations.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent and the performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before a contract).
Service providers
A small number of trusted providers process data on my behalf, only as needed to run the Site and service:
- Samply — hosts the file-upload area and stores submitted audio and messages. See Samply's privacy policy.
- Google Workspace — email correspondence.
- IONOS — website and form hosting.
I do not sell your personal data or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
Retention
Enquiry and project data is kept only as long as needed for our correspondence and the project, and to meet legal/accounting requirements, after which it is deleted. You can ask me to delete your data sooner (see below).
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email ohad@ohadnissim.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and held with the providers listed above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time; the date above shows the latest revision.
